Update on Chile

Hi family and friends,
Don't know how much time my computer has, don't know if I will get any pictured in this time. I am working in an employment office in the Republica. Iride a subway and walk an hour there and an hour back each day. The people are wonderful. The Subway goes about 90 miles an hour if not faster. It scared me to death the first time, but I am gettin used to it. My Companion is Sister Karen Mayhew. She has red hair, is my age and has 7 kids. We both will have to work hard to be fluent in Spanish. The traffic is heavy here in the city. The buildings are everything from looking like Spanish architecture to Swiss Chalets to Italian looking structures with boxes of flowers in the windows. It is exciting. I have my own bathroom and a tiny kitchen and cubicle I call a room. It is cold here I use a stufa or a space heater and a warming pad on my bed at night.
Gotta go
I love and miss you all but I am very busy each day.
